Genus Logix allows you to merge structured business
objects with Microsoft® document templates forming Microsoft® Word®

Shortcut between business objects can be used to create

|
You can configure Genus Logix to create a log for
create, change and delete events related to objects. The
resulting log can be browsed or searched. You can also use
Genus Locator to search the event history across all
objects.

Mail can be stored in connection to your business objects.
You just use drag and drop from Microsoft® Outlook® to store
your non-personal mail in Genus Logix. Further more, you
can even send mail from Genus Logix and store in connection to the object at the same time.

All types of documents and files can be stored in
connection to your business objects. You can also create
folders to organize your storage. Simply use drag and drop
to move files to and from Microsoft® Windows®.

Distribute |
|
Genus Logix provides an efficient mechanism for
distributing any kind of corporate information, into your
receiver's hands without the hassle and expense of manual
work. Use the simple, but powerful, wizard that guides you
through the questions of what, how and where;
- Combinations. Use your currently selected
objects, or Genus Locator, to specify what to combine
with your analysis, report, table or form, to create the
combinations to distribute. You can treat objects
individually, yielding many combinations, or as a group,
which will lead to only one combination.
- Channels. Distribute your information through
any available channel like Microsoft® Office, Microsoft®
Exchange®, Microsoft® File System, or your printers.
- Formats. Choose the format that best fulfills
your needs from a vast number of alternatives like PDF,
HTML, XML, TXT, CSV, RTF, XLS, WMF, EMF, JPG, BMP, or
GIF.
- Naming. Compose the name rules of your
distribution using knowledge from your meta-data
combined with standard delimiters. All
distributed objects are thereby automatically given
individual names!
- Recipients. Use all the features of Genus Locator to specify who to reach with your distribution.

Schema |
|
With Genus Schema, an author can create a schema that
precisely defines which element names are permitted in his
XML-document and, within each element, which sub elements,
attributes, and relations are allowed. The schema can be
composed from different business objects. The XML-schema
enables integration with other applications through XML Web
Services, but it is also used in Export to simple files and
in Mail Merge with Microsoft® Word®. In other words, a schema
represents the bridge between your business data and
external users or applications!

Genus Directory allows organizations to centrally manage
users and security groups. In addition it consolidates the
integration with Microsoft® Active Directory and the
