The foundation of Genus dates back to research work at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) during the late 1980’s.

The Genus technology was first introduced in the marketplace in 1996, following several years of development. Genus is based on state-of-the-art Microsoft® architecture and is currently being used by a number of Norwegian and international corporations.

Our business strategy is to constrain growth to ensure proof of concept and technology in order to maximize our long term market potential. We target medium to large international customers to establish success stories and a platform for global spread and further growth.
